What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Owner position at Signature IT World Inc?
Product Owner/SME with strong experience in indirect lending domain (home improvement, remodeling, flipping etc.) to drive large-scale transformation programs.
Strong mobile app banking experience with indirect lending flavour. Mobile app experience must be in banking industry. Please do not share any profiles outside of banking and financial services domain.
This role is aligned with ongoing service financing and banking platform modernization initiatives (e.g., post-merger integrations such as Truist), where legacy digital capabilities are being reimagined and rebuilt on modern technology stacks (iOS, Android, API-first architectures).
You will act as a bridge between business, product, and engineering teams, driving product vision, defining requirements, and ensuring high-quality delivery of scalable digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead problem discovery, requirement definition, and solution evaluation for digital banking initiatives
- Act as Product Owner, driving product vision, roadmap, and backlog prioritization
- Translate business strategy into MVP definitions and incremental delivery plans
- Lead Agile ceremonies: PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Reviews & Demos
- Define and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog health
- Work closely with solution architects, engineering teams, and UX teams to ensure design alignment
- Define API contracts, request/response mappings, and integration flows
- Support open banking architecture and reusable API strategy across digital channels
- Drive digital rebuild initiatives across mobile (iOS/Android) and web channels
- Partner with stakeholders during product demos, UAT validation, and production rollout
- Manage release documentation (go/no-go decisions, release notes, support models)
- Collaborate with testing teams to plan and execute functional validation
- Support post-production and rollout stabilization activities
- Drive process optimization using RPA (UiPath) and automation frameworks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 10 years of IT experience, with strong exposure to Banking/Financial Services
- Willing to work from Boca Raton, Florida
- Ability to travel based on project needs
- U.S. work authorization required (no sponsorship)
Preferred Experience & Skills
Product Ownership & Agile
- 10 years as Product Owner in Digital Banking applications
- Strong experience in Scaled Agile (SAFe) / POPM certification preferred
- Proven ability to engage leadership stakeholders and drive product decisions
Digital Banking Domain Expertise
- Strong experience in:
- Community Banking
- Service financing / lending platforms (Truist-like ecosystems)
- Understanding of:
- Customer onboarding and CRM platforms
- Consumer Lending platforms.

- Strong understanding of:
- Open Banking architecture & API ecosystems
