Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Kafka Administrator with strong expertise in the Apache Kafka ecosystem and Confluent Platform administration. The candidate will be responsible for deployment, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, security, and performance tuning of Kafka clusters in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Kafka and Confluent clusters.
- Manage multi-node Kafka clusters in production environments.
- Implement Kafka security:
- Administer Confluent components:
- Replicator / Cluster Linking
Required Skills
Mandatory
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka administration.
- Experience with Confluent Platform.
- Knowledge of:
- ZooKeeper / KRaft architecture
- Kafka internals
- Topic design
- Partition strategy
- Replication concepts
- Linux administration skills.
- Experience in monitoring tools like:
- Grafana
- Prometheus
- Splunk
- ELK
- Scripting knowledge in Bash/Python.
- Understanding of networking and security concepts.
