Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise landscaping crews to ensure efficient execution of landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, and planting projects.
- Oversee construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications.
- Manage irrigation systems, including installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance to promote healthy landscapes.
- Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health; troubleshoot horticultural issues as they arise.
- Coordinate team schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to optimize productivity and quality standards.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and supplies necessary for daily operations while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional outdoor environments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping design or horticulture with a focus on plant identification and plant health management.
- Supervising or team management experience within landscaping or construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, tree care practices, and general gardening principles.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage crew members effectively.
- Construction experience related to outdoor projects in, including site preparation and project execution.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic setting.
- Valid certifications in horticulture or landscape management are a plus; familiarity with irrigation management tools is preferred.
