What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpet Cleaner position at Signature Carpet Cleaning?
Signature Carpet Cleaning is hiring for a carpet cleaner. This position would require the employee to help grow the business by providing excellent customer service and an excellent product that our clients want to refer to others.
Responsibilities:
- Perform carpet cleaning services for residential and commercial clients
- Operate carpet cleaning equipment and tools
- Inspect carpets for stains, damage, or other issues
- Pre-treat and spot clean carpets as necessary
- Use appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques to remove dirt, stains, and odors
- Move furniture and other items as needed to access carpets
- Ensure proper ventilation during and after cleaning to facilitate drying
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in environmental services, custodial work, or commercial cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of different types of carpets and appropriate cleaning methods
- Ability to operate carpet cleaning equipment effectively and safely
- Attention to detail and ability to identify stains or damage on carpets
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy equipment or furniture if necessary
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and address any concerns or questions -Must be able to pass a drug test (we test for THC)
