Key Responsibilities
- Greet walk-in customers and answer incoming calls with a positive, professional attitude
- Monitor and respond to web requests, online inquiries, and lead submissions in a timely and professional manner
- Ask questions to understand customer needs, goals, timelines, budgets, and project requirements
- Recommend signage, graphics, branding, and visual communication solutions
- Prepare accurate estimates, quotes, and work orders
- Follow up on quotes and help convert opportunities into sales
- Process deposits, payments, invoicing, and basic billing tasks
- Coordinate projects with design, production, and installation teams
- Communicate timelines, approvals, updates, and changes clearly to customers
- Maintain accurate customer records, job notes, and project details
- Support quality control by reviewing job details, proofs, and completed work as needed
- Help ensure customers receive an excellent experience from first contact through final delivery
- Support marketing efforts such as project photos, social media content, direct mail, and customer outreach
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, account coordination, project coordination, or administrative support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with consultative selling, problem-solving, and helping customers make decisions
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-through abilities
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confident using Microsoft Office, email, and general business software
- Willingness to learn industry-specific tools such as POS, CRM, estimating, and project management software
- Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Sign, graphics, printing, marketing, or visual communications industry experience
- Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar programs
- Experience with CRM systems, POS software, or project management tools
- Proven sales experience, especially consultative or solution-based selling
- Basic understanding of branding, marketing, and visual communication
- Some college coursework or relevant certifications
