Dedicated Security Officer - Orangeburg

Title: Dedicated Security Officer

Position Summary:
A Signal Dedicated Security Officer will conduct static security services for courtyards, offices, pools, and other high-value areas to ensure all required access points are properly secured and to protect property and residents with a high degree of attentiveness to detail and safety. All listed duties are minimum requirements; additional duties from the site’s Post Orders must also be followed.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and deliver dedicated security services reflecting company values, expectations, and site-specific post orders.
• Write detailed, accurate reports using company technology and web or app-based software during each shift following site instructions.
• Consistently arrive on time, follow shift schedules, clock in/out, adhere to dress code and appearance standards.
• Interact with internal and external customers to cultivate professional customer service relationships, striving to provide peace of mind.
• Communicate ly with the Advanced Dedicated Officer or Dedicated Branch Supervisor regarding customer or property concerns.
• Care for assigned Signal equipment including radios, access keys/cards, vehicles, and devices.
• De-escalate incidents professionally and ly through communication.
• Manage daily activities to meet key benchmarks and expectations set by the Dedicated Branch Supervisor, including reporting standards and service quality.
• Participate in Branch Supervisor Daily Scrum meetings to receive and share information about client needs and post order changes ensuring operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Pass background check and drug test
• Reliable transportation required
• Complete required training modules within the first month of employment
• Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills
• Commitment to service, company values, and professionalism demonstrated through conduct and demeanor at all times
• Ability to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
