Job Description
Sigmatech is seeking a qualified and experienced Space Operations Instructor to support course delivery and development for Mission Delta 9 at Schriever SFB, CO. This position will instruct lessons in various courses as well as develop, implement, validate, and maintain educational and course materials for assigned lessons.
This position requires familiarity in the following areas: DoW, commercial and civil space operations, ground systems, on-orbit systems, links, international capabilities, and threats. This position will be responsible for the development, maintenance and delivery of Space Operations related materials and lessons. Individual will assist in the coordination, development, and maintenance of Space Operations lessons, student experience levels, detail levels and delivery lengths. Individual will instruct space operations lessons, space command and control (C2), space capabilities, and similar topics.
Specific Duties
Instruct in various space and DoD related competency areas.
Qualify and deliver classroom instruction as assigned consistent with Instructional System Development (ISD) principles to satisfy government course delivery requirements.
Design, develop, implement, and maintain lesson plans and materials within the USAF Instructional System Development (ISD) guidelines to satisfy government educational requirements.
Interface with internal and external agencies and customers as required to maintain up-to-date education program materials.
Assist with additional support requirements such as PEX management and implementation, registrar duties, and collecting and implementing feedback into course materials.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in related field
Minimum 10 years relevant combined experience in space operations and as instructor in DoW space-related units
Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
Ability to display tact, discretion, and diplomacy
Ability to excel in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment
In accordance with the Colorado Fair Pay Act the estimated annual salary for this position is $1300,000 - $140,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.
