What are the responsibilities and job description for the Avenger Technician position at Sigmatech, Inc.?
Your role:
In your role as an Avenger Technician, you will support AMCOM Field Maintenance Activity team on Redstone Army Arsenal, and in various U.S. locations. Travel expectation is approximately 50%. Using your expert knowledge of the Avenger ADA system you will perform or manage a variety of maintenance and repair functions including Functional Tests, Visual, Technical Inspection (TI) checks in accordance with approved workbooks / inspection forms and technical manuals. You will also assist the Team Lead as they analyze data to plan work, assess labor requirements, and report production metrics to the Site lead. Your position will report to the Avenger Team Lead and is one part of a multi team effort to support different requirements for one specific customer, the National Guard Bureau, as well as occasionally surging to support priority efforts of the entire FMA team.
Primary duties will include (but not limited to):
- Planning trips to customer (NGB) sites.
- Traveling safely to customer sites.
- Inspecting Avenger ADA system IAW technical manuals, work instructions, and associated checklists.
- Performing Operator and above level maintenance on the Avenger ADA system.
- Maintenance may include scheduled and unscheduled services upon inspection.
- Documenting work performed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent- At least 3 years' experience in Military Occupational Series SHORAD or Ground-based weapon systems.
- Must have a Secret Security Clearance.
- Must demonstrate experience assessing, testing, and adjusting precision equipment according to blueprints or other specifications.
- Must be able to work independently, take direction, and follow instructions.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

Desired Skills: - 7 years' experience in Military Occupational Series SHORAD or Ground-based weapon systems.
- 2 years in associated trade courses / study
- Previous leadership experience
- Class A / B Commercial Driver's License
