PTO, 3 personal/floating holidays, 15-16 company holidaysSalary: $90K-135K Work arrangement: RemotePrimary Function:The Senior Zone Programmer delivers a full programming package to the project team, including the sequence of operations, virtual points, pre-tested code, and onsite functional testing for each assigned project. Building automation aims to enhance occupant comfort, run systems more efficiently, lower energy use and operating costs, and extend the overall life of building utilities.Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:Write programs and virtual points for approved submittalsProvide pre-sale assistance for labor estimatingCreate functional testing documents and flowchartsSet up virtual and physical testing system to test programs prior to releaseCreate functional testing check-out sheets to be included in the Specialist’s check-out bookAssist Graphics Designer with incorporating dynamic point information into graphicsReview design content to provide Specialists with the information needed to optimize start-up and commissioningPrepare Requests for Information (RFIs) to identify specification discrepancies and request clarification, and determine the cost impact of requested changesMay provide onsite assistance with functional testing, and expert advice, training, and technical assistance to support staff and entry-level employees.Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences. Education and Experience: (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)Basic Qualifications:High school diploma or state-recognized GED4 years of experience programming HVAC systems and developing HVAC controls strategiesElectro-mechanical experience (either in a previous role or through education) and user PC/software skills Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read and understand design and construction documentsExperience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)Preferred Qualifications:Associate degree Compliance:Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipBackground - Pass a post-offer background verification.Work EnvironmentOffice: Standard office environment with normal office related conditions.
