Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 10% bonus & discretionary profit sharing - DOE
We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor / Value Stream Lead to oversee production operations and lead a team of 25 employees within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for driving safety, quality, delivery performance, and continuous improvement initiatives while developing front-line leaders and building a high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and develop production leads and manufacturing personnel
- Directly manage approximately 30 employees through front-line leads
- Drive accountability, performance, and employee engagement
- Support training, coaching, and career development initiatives
- Foster a culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Production Operations
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production and delivery goals
- Allocate staffing and resources to support changing production demands
- Monitor throughput, productivity, and operational performance metrics
- Address production constraints, material shortages, and workflow bottlenecks
- Maintain strong shop floor presence and visibility with employees
Continuous Improvement
- Lead Kaizen events and process improvement initiatives
- Utilize value stream mapping to identify opportunities for operational efficiency
- Implement corrective actions based on data analysis and root cause investigations
- Support cycle counting and inventory accuracy initiatives
- Drive waste reduction and process standardization efforts
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, HR, and Operations leadership
- Collaborate with scheduling and materials teams to optimize production flow
- Support implementation of new technologies, systems, and processes
- Serve as a key contributor to organizational growth and operational scalability
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience
- 2 years supervising teams of 15 employees
- Experience leading employees in a production or assembly environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production flow
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems using data and root cause analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with a proactive leadership approach
- Comfortable making decisions in ambiguous situations
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain within 12 months)
- Experience leading Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and throughput improvement methodologies
- Experience with quality systems including 8D corrective actions
- ERP system experience (SAP, Rootstock, Oracle, Epicor, Plex, etc.)
- Experience managing inventory challenges and material shortages
Technical Skills
- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- ERP and manufacturing systems experience preferred
- Ability to analyze production metrics and operational data
