Manufacturing Engineer

The Manufacturing Process Engineer will focus on true manufacturing process engineering, not product design. This role supports the machining of stainless steel and titanium components in a high-mix, low-volume production environment. The engineer will be responsible for CNC programming (Mastercam or Siemens NX), developing machining processes, and driving continuous optimization on the shop floor. Exposure to airfoils is beneficial, though strong CNC experience is the top priority.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and document machining processes for stainless steel and titanium components.
• Program CNC equipment (Mastercam or Siemens NX), including multi-axis machines, CNC VTLs, and milling centers.
• Perform setups and first-article run-offs to validate new programs and processes before release to production.
• Provide hands-on support on the shop floor to resolve machining challenges and improve cycle times, tool life, and quality.
• Ensure proper routing of precision components by leveraging broad knowledge of machine tools and capabilities.
• Read, interpret, and analyze manufacturing drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to respond to inquiries and address issues raised by employees, regulatory groups, or business partners.
• Support quality processes, including PPAP evaluations for incoming jobs and new production launches.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 5–10 years of relevant CNC machining/manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong background in CNC machining with direct programming experience in Mastercam or Siemens NX.
• Hands-on experience with multi-axis machining, CNC VTLs, milling machines, and build-to-print manufacturing.

Pay: $100, $125,000.00 per year
