Job Title: RN – Respiratory / Medical-Surgical Unit (Night Shift)
Location: Zanesville, OH 43701
Pay Range: $36–$55 per hour
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,296–$1,980 (36 hours/week)
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 hours per week
Schedule: Every other weekend required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment primarily on a respiratory unit. The nurse may occasionally float to other medical-surgical units, including wound care, stroke, oncology, cardiac, observation, and ED/medical-surgical boarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients on the respiratory and medical-surgical units.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.
- Float to other medical-surgical units as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic EMR.
- Provide holiday coverage as required.
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum 3 years of current or recent telemetry and/or stepdown experience.
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry rhythms.
- Current proficiency with Epic EMR is mandatory.
- Must pass the telemetry competency assessment on the first day.
- Must be available for every other weekend and required holiday coverage.
Important Information
- Epic proficiency and telemetry competency are strictly required.
- Epic refresher training or one-on-one assistance will not be provided.
- Start date is November 16, 2026, with no exceptions unless the candidate is a returning Genesis traveler who worked within the past 9 months.
