Siffrin is hiring Substitute Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in residential and community settings. This part‑time, fill‑in caregiver role is ideal for candidates seeking flexible hours and meaningful work.
What You’ll Do
- Provide direct care and assistance with daily living activities (personal care, meals, hygiene, household tasks)
- Support individuals in the home and community, promoting independence and dignity
- Transport clients safely to medical appointments and community activities
- Administer medications and follow care plans (paid training provided)
Complete required documentation and follow health & safety guidelines
Qualifications:Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility as needed
- Basic computer skills (email, simple documentation)
- Must pass background and motor vehicle checks
- Willingness to complete required state and agency training
Schedule & Details
- Part-time substitute role, typically under 30 hours per week
- Flexible shifts (days, evenings, weekends as needed)
- Work across multiple residential locations
- PTO not included for substitute positions
