SierTeK Ltd. is seeking a Multimedia Specialist and Content Manager to support a hybrid opportunity.
Multimedia Specialist Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and produce multimedia content including videos, graphics, animations, presentations, and audio products to support government initiatives
• Support training development by creating instructional videos, eLearning modules, and visual aids
• Collaborate with program manager, team lead, and technical teams to translate complex information into clear, engaging content
• Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards and government branding guidelines
• Edit and format multimedia products for web, internal systems, and public distribution
• Manage multimedia assets, archives, and version control in secure environments
• Support live or recorded events, briefings, and official communications
• Maintain awareness of federal policies, security requirements, and data handling procedures
• Provide technical expertise on multimedia tools and emerging technologies
• Ability to manage projects independently and as part of a team, as well as the ability to work through problems quickly and independently.
• Responsible for the conceptualization and development of high-quality multimedia/graphic content for use across various platforms such as websites and print media.
• Provide resources with knowledge and experience to develop various graphic designs such as Overview Graphics (OV-1), logos/patches, posters, pamphlets/flyers, presentations, decals (for simulators and general branding), banners, going away frames, Division coins, awards, and calendars.
• Produce and maintain building signage, including but not limited to office/cubicle/testbed nameplates, award display boards, command photos, organizational signage, picture frames, and other general signage requests.
• Prepare and produce research promotional materials such as videos and print for publication and shall be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to multimedia/graphic content across the various platforms/tools.
• Plan and perform all video production and postproduction tasks such as field production planning, interacting with subject matter experts, operating and managing all video & audio equipment, footage review, editing, graphic/audio adjustments, and ensuring video products are available in a variety of formats.
• Ability to collaborate with the appropriate internal and external stakeholders to include the technical and project leads as well as the public affairs teams to ensure multimedia products meet the project objectives and align to AFRL information release guidelines.
• Participate in and support other projects within their skillset as directed by the Government representative.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing priorities effectively to meet deadlines.
Content Manager Key Responsibilities:
Digital Content Distribution
• Manage digital content distribution and delivery across both unclassified and classified platforms
• Manage the full catalog of digital content produced by the MMO ensuring its availability to authorized individuals. Examples include distribution of software, models, datasets, documentation, or briefings through web-based portals
Physical Content Distribution
• Manage physical content distribution and delivery for the subset of products which the MMO chooses to offer through physical media. Examples include distribution of software, models, datasets, or documentation using portable hard drives, discs, or classified courier
Content Moderation
• Moderate content contributed to shared, community platforms by end users and other stakeholders of MMO products and services
• Tasks include, but are not limited to: Maintaining contribution policies, applying security classification guidance, or implementing records management plans tailored for each platform
Content Access and Authorization
• Manage authorization and access control processes surrounding the use of both unclassified and classified platforms
• Tasks include but are not limited to: Processing system authorization paperwork, resolving access request tickets, and granting appropriate user permissions.
Content Concierge
• Act as the primary concierge for user and stakeholder requests for information about MMO products and services
• Improve the discoverability and accessibility of information in the process of serving these inquiries and requests
Multimedia Specialist Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8 years of multimedia production experience, preferably in a government or contractor environment
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Experience developing content for training, communications, or public affairs
• Knowledge of Section 508 compliance and accessibility standards
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (if required)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting federal agencies (e.g., DoD, civilian agencies)
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate)
• Experience with video production in secure or controlled environments
• Knowledge of government communication policies and approval processes
Content Manager Minimum Position Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Information Management, Library Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• 5 years of experience
