SierTeK Ltd. is seeking a Lead Support (Swing Shift) to support an opportunity at Randolph AFB.
POSITION OVERVIEW SECTION
The Lead Support position serves as a working lead responsible for coordinating daily workload activities, providing guidance to contract personnel, and supporting supervisory functions in the absence of the Site Supervisor. This role ensures continuity of operations while maintaining compliance with contract requirements and avoiding the creation of personal services.
Essential Job Functions
• Serve as a designated working lead and site focal point for assigned shifts or work areas.
• Assign and coordinate workload in the absence of the Site Supervisor to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Act as a liaison between Government personnel and contractor employees.
• Provide oversight and direction to contract personnel to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.
• Receive work requirements and delegate tasks based on employee skill sets, ensuring personnel are trained, certified, and available.
• Support and enforce compliance with contract requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with accident/incident reporting and ensure proper documentation and follow-up actions.
• Attend required meetings and provide operational updates as needed.
• Serve as the point of contact for Government supervision/management in the absence of the Site Supervisor.
• Maintain accountability of personnel actions and operational activities.
• Function as a working lead by performing hands-on duties within assigned areas.
• Crosstrain to support multiple functional areas and provide operational flexibility as required.
Minimum Position Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role in inventory control, asset management, logistics, or aircraft maintenance support preferred.
• Ability to maintain detailed records and ensure strict accountability of government assets.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work with maintenance personnel, supervisors, and Government representatives.
