SierTeK Ltd. is seeking (3) Joint SOF Operations & Plans to support an opportunity at MacDill AFB, FL.
Position Overview Section
We are seeking a highly experienced Joint SOF Operations & Plans Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support strategic and operational planning within a Joint Special Operations environment. This role requires deep expertise in crisis response, joint planning processes, and battle staff operations at the Combatant Command, Service Headquarters, or USSOCOM level.
The ideal candidate brings extensive Special Operations experience, senior-level leadership, and a proven ability to operate within high-tempo, mission-critical environments supporting national-level objectives.
Qualifications:
Minimum Position Requirements
- 15 years of Special Operations experience
- Former Senior Leader:
- Commissioned Officer (O-5 or higher), OR
- Warrant Officer (CW3 or higher), OR
- Senior Enlisted (E-9)
- 2 years of experience supporting:
- Joint Staff, Combatant Command (CCMD), Service Headquarters, or USSOCOM HQ
- 2 years supporting Joint SOF crisis response operations aligned with national policy frameworks (e.g., PPD-30 / NSPM-36)
- Demonstrated experience supporting battle staff planning, training, and execution, including crisis action planning, exercises, and readiness events
- Top-Secret/SCI
- Bachelor's Degree
Relevant Experience (Highly Desired)
- Experience supporting Joint Staff, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), USSOCOM, TSOCs, or JTF/JSOTF Headquarters
- Background in key planning or operations roles such as J3/J5/J35/J37 staff, Future Operations Planner, Battle Captain, CAT member, or Exercise/Training Planner
- SOF operational experience within SMU/National Mission Force, Army SOF, Ranger Regiment, MARSOC, Naval Special Warfare, or AFSOC
- Experience in operations, plans, targeting, or contingency response at the unit, task force, or headquarters level
- Demonstrated involvement in readiness events, assessments, or after-action reviews (AARs)
