Sierra Tel seeks to fill a Safety Coordinator position in the beautiful mountain community of Oakhurst, California. This position establishes and oversees the health and safety processes for the organization, providing safety coordination to ensure safe and efficient operations. The goal of this position is to bolster HR administration and workplace safety programs and training according to legal standards and foster a strong safety culture within the organization.
Ideal candidates for the Safety Coordinator position will have well-rounded experience in safety, including training, inspections, accident reporting, OSHA regulations, and workers’ compensation. The starting pay for this position is $23.00 to $35.00 per hour.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school in safety management or related field. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Occupational Safety and/or Human Resources certification preferred.
- Three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Class C California driver’s license with a minimum of three years of driving experience.
