Position Overview
The Paralegal will play a critical role in supporting attorneys with case management, legal documentation, client communication, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, contracts, and discovery materials.
- Manage case files and maintain accurate records, calendars, deadlines, and court filings.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys and leadership.
- Coordinate communication with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and outside vendors.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, hearings, depositions, and mediation support.
- Prepare and file documents with state and federal courts.
- Organize and analyze case materials, exhibits, and evidence.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive legal and client information.
- Support multiple attorneys and prioritize assignments in a deadline-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant preferred.
- Paralegal certificate or degree is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
