Job Summary
We are seeking a Mainframe Developer with strong Integration Testing experience. The ideal candidate will work on high-visibility mainframe applications, ensuring seamless integration across enterprise systems. This role requires hands-on mainframe development, testing, cross-team collaboration, and support for data-related initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, MQ.
- Perform analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation for complex programs.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to convert requirements into technical specs.
- Lead integration testing efforts across multiple systems.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for integration testing.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects during testing phases.
- Support data analysis, data migration, rule mining, and legacy code conversion.
- Write scripts for data cleansing, formatting, and transformation.
- Coordinate with offshore teams on deliverables and quality reviews.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational readiness standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with COBOL, DB2, JCL, MQ.
- Strong experience in integration testing methodologies and processes.
- Experience with data analysis, data migration, and rule mining.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies; experience with Azure DevOps preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in team environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with open systems (SQL Server, SSIS, ETL tools).
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps roles, security, and access management.
- Familiarity with Ceridian Dayforce or other SaaS payroll systems.
