JOB DUTIES
The RAD-T supports the activities of the department, which provides high quality substance abuse recovery services for people who are struggling with the addictions to alcohol and other drugs by assisting them in achieving identified goals.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Manage a caseload of clients
- Group Facilitation, individual counseling & case management of clients
- File compliance ensuring contractual guidelines and Shine's standards are upheld
- Crisis Management
- Collaborative team work
- Maintain a good knowledge and understanding of Shine's mission, vision, & philosophy
- Actively participate in meetings and team-building activities.
- Communicate on a direct and timely basis about needs and problems as they arise.
- Ensure standards of conduct are upheld.
- Ensure a community environment is maintained.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are upheld.
- Maximize learning opportunities by remaining receptive to constructive feedback and utilizing support available from your supervisor and others.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements
Requirements
- registered RADT-1
- 1 years of experience as an AOD/SUD Counselor and/or Case Manager with strong professional references attesting to a high degree of clinical sophistication
- Specific knowledge helpful in process addiction and treatment resources
- Advanced assessment, treatment planning, discharge planning, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of treatment and referral community
- Knowledge of dual diagnosis treatment practices including non-pharmacological symptoms management techniques
Other Requirements: Obtain CPR/First Aid Certification, TB test, health screening, negative drug test, Flu/Covid-Vaccination upon hire, medical clearance to work, pass pre-employment drug screenings.
