As a Specification Representative, you will play a key role in promoting Sierra Forest Products’ diverse product portfolio within target markets, with the objective of increasing specifications and ultimately driving revenue growth.
Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000
Your Role & Impact:
- Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key industry contacts, including architects, designers, general contractors, and end users.
- Identify relevant projects, key players, and decision makers with the goal of increasing, securing, and sustaining product specifications.
- Collaborate with the sales team and utilize CRM tools to accurately track and manage specified projects through to completion and sale.
- Engage in continuous learning to strengthen product knowledge and industry expertise.
- Work closely with the management team to support and coordinate marketing initiatives.
- Maintain productive, professional relationships with vendors.
- Stay current on new products and industry trends, sharing insights with both management and the sales team.
- Partner with design firms to support colour palette selection and overall design solutions.
What Makes You Stand Out:
- Experience working in or with the architectural design community and/or sales in a related industry.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Results driven with excellent negotiation, problem solving and influencing skills.
- Outgoing, creative, self-driven with a passion for results.
- Ability to manage a long sales pipeline with the help of our CRM software.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- College or university degree in a related field or equivalent level of field experience an asset.
- Interior Design Accreditation or Certificate.
