Sierra Executive Solutions, Inc. (SES) is a 3rd party search firm recruiting for a Las Vegas, NV insurance industry client company's Sales & Marketing Operations Manager career opportunity! This is a key position in the organization leading a team of 16 staff and replacing a tenured retired employee.
Summary: Responsible for planning and implementing sales. marketing and product development programs. both short and long range, while managing the overall activities of the sales/marketing team throughout the entire Nevada territory of the Self-Insured Groups (SlG's) managed by the company. Additionally, working with all internal departments and management to best serve the members of the SlG's, offering assistance and guidance, along with internal project management for overall business relations and customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manages all employees of the sales department statewide and is responsible for the hiring and disciplinary actions of the employees within the department
- Provide effective team and project management, to include overseeing timelines, project, and ensuring client needs are met with direct sales staff
- Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals
- Direct sales staff on daily activities. and provide performance evaluations to develop and achieve sales and marketing productivity as outlined in overall objectives
- Assign and delegate sales staff as needed for special projects. events and training of new representatives
- Continue and develop ongoing strategic marketing/sales plans to achieve corporate objectives
- Evaluate and adjust marketing strategies to meet changing markets and competitive
conditions, to include monitoring of competitive products. sales and marketing activities
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
- Coordinate activities between marketing/sales department with other corporate departments and management with related company activities
- Provide outstanding leadership to direct sales team members, as well as internal inter-departmental staff while acting as a liaison, offering opportunities for coaching and development, to maximize work output, quality and overall satisfaction of our product and services
- Oversee and assist with expenditures of the sales division for budget purposes
- Assist with advertising and promotional activities including print, media, electronic online activities and overall marketing strategies
- Attend and assist with ongoing management meetings and reviews to ensure the success of the SIGs in respect to claims review, overall loss ratios, accounting, collections, marketing, sales and retention strategies
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position manages all employees of the sales department statewide and is responsible for the hiring and disciplinary actions of the employees within the sales department, as well as the overall office functions of the southern Nevada office to include property management. office security. meetings, events/functions and associate vendors/leaser needs.
Requirements & Qualifications: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies and experience:
- 3 years of any commercial insurance lines sales and marketing experience is required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Leadership, Strategic thinking and Proficient problem solving in all areas of business to promote a positive team spirit

Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
