Manufacturing Cell Operator - Smart Building Systems

• Location: Buffalo Grove, Illinois
• Shift: 2nd shift, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm
• Pay: $20.21 per hour

You’ll be part of a tight-knit production team building products that enable smart, sustainable buildings. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem solving, and rotating between different tasks, this is for you.

• Assemble and fine-tune products per documented standards (visual aids, work instructions, and specs).
• Operate hand, pneumatic, and power tools; run production equipment and computer-controlled machinery.
• Stage and move materials and components to keep lines running efficiently.
• Rotate across workstations, cells, and departments to align with demand.
• Complete production and quality records with accuracy and timeliness.
• Escalate and help resolve process, equipment, or quality concerns.
• Execute setups, adjustments, and changeovers per procedures.
• Promote a safe, organized, team-first environment while meeting output and quality goals.

• Comfort with physical work: standing, sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, and related activities during the shift.
• Ability to read and follow English instructions, safety guidance, and equipment documentation.
• Precision and care in assembly to meet quality standards.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Manufacturing experience and strong communication skills
• Basic computer literacy for documentation and system use

• Power tools, pneumatic tools, small/large production equipment, material handling devices, and computer-controlled machinery

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
