How You'll Make An Impact
- Lead supplier product and process qualification activities (PPQs) to ensure compliance with quality and manufacturing requirements.
- Investigate, contain, and resolve supplier quality issues impacting manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and customers globally.
- Drive supplier root cause investigations and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Audit, assess, and develop supplier manufacturing capabilities to meet current and future business requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to improve manufacturability, quality performance, and supply chain reliability.
- Identify and support continuous improvement and cost reduction opportunities across the supplier base.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related industrial/manufacturing environment. (Ability to travel internationally and domestically up to 20% of the time required).
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, Supplier Quality Management, manufacturing processes, GD&T, inspection methodologies, and manufacturing capability assessments.
- Experience applying quality improvement and problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa, with the ability to manage multiple investigations and supplier quality issues simultaneously.
- Proficiency with SAP and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering teams to ensure product manufacturability and quality requirements are achieved.
