Position Duties/Responsibilities
- Partner with assigned suppliers to develop a Right First Time culture and associated capable processes
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence (8D process)
- Understand and interpret project and product technical specifications to ensure compliance and quality.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers to guarantee that all products and services meet specified requirements.
- Support internal execution teams by providing technical information and guidance for successful installation and commissioning of equipment.
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure products meet specified standards and customer expectations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance with quality standards and develop quality control documentation and reports.
- Monitor and analyze product performance data to identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies for existing work plans
- Concurrent multi-site, multi-state responsibility
- Assist and monitor Technicians with technical questions
- No formal supervisory responsibilities
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial) or engineering technology (mechanical, electrical, industrial), or equivalent years of experience
- 5 years of professional work experience
- Advanced computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office software.
- 8 years of experience in application and installation of complex standby and prime electric power systems.
- Master’s Degree in a related field.
- 10 years or more of experience in a related field with Heavy Equipment Manufacturer
