How You’ll Make An Impact
- Follows methods used for Sub-assembly DS and EQ Molds and any other Wax Component required in the Assembly process.
- Works with small hydrogen torches, hot plates, brushes, hot wax, irons, and a variety of specialized Wax Hand Tools.
- Follows written work instructions, and photographs and will use hand tools to patch, smooth, and fill areas on Sprues.
- Attach pour coups to sprues with accurate orientation/spacing and visually inspect Sprues, Metal Plates, and Subcomponents for defects.
- Follow additional instructions as assigned and cross-training as needed.
- High school or GED is required.
- Knowledge or interest in manufacturing, good attention to detail and eye/hand coordination skills.
- Able to perform basic math functions using the metric system and ability to read Engineering instructions.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
- This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
