Working with global teams across engineering, manufacturing, materials, and foundry operations, you'll use simulation-driven insights to predict defects, optimize casting processes, influence component design decisions, and accelerate the development of next-generation turbine technologies.

How You'll Make An Impact
- Develop and apply advanced manufacturing and casting simulation methodologies to improve product quality, reduce defects, and increase manufacturing yield.
- Drive Design for Manufacturability (DfM) initiatives by integrating manufacturability considerations early in the turbine component design process.
- Predict and mitigate manufacturing risks through simulation-based analysis of casting processes, solidification behavior, cooling performance, and defect formation.
- Partner with design, materials, manufacturing, and supplier teams to optimize turbine hot gas path components for performance, durability, and manufacturability.
- Advance simulation capabilities and validation methods related to investment casting, foundry operations, defect prediction, and manufacturing process development.
- Lead technical problem-solving efforts using modeling, simulation, data analysis, and testing to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce lead times, and lower production costs.
- Influence the development of next-generation turbine manufacturing technologies and establish best practices across global engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing simulation, casting simulation, process modeling, FEA, CFD, thermal analysis, or related engineering disciplines.
- Experience with one or more engineering simulation tools such as:
- ProCAST
- MAGMASOFT
- ANSYS
- STAR-CCM
- Simcenter 3D
- Abaqus
- or similar platforms
- Experience supporting manufacturing, casting, turbomachinery, aerospace, foundry, power generation, or advanced manufacturing applications.
- Understanding of simulation-driven engineering principles, Design for Manufacturability (DfM), process optimization, and multi-physics analysis.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following is preferred:
- Investment casting
- Foundry manufacturing
- Solidification modeling
- Casting defect prediction
- Thermal systems
- Cooling technologies
- Turbine component manufacturing
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and capable of leading complex technical initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
