How You’ll Make An Impact
- Lead development and refinement of processes, tools, and procedures for generator fleet maintenance plans.
- Optimize safety, quality, and scheduling for generator outages.
- Design training criteria for technicians and engineers on specialized tooling and equipment.
- Support District Service Offices with outage plans and provide on-site technical leadership during peak seasons.
- Manage complex R&D projects and implement cost savings and standardization efforts across the fleet.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, or related technical field.
- 3 years of field service, power generation, or related engineering experience; prior knowledge of Siemens Energy equipment and processes is a plus.
- Strong skills in process optimization, project management, and problem-solving.
- Excellent technical writing and verbal communication abilities, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptable to learning new tools.
- Willing to travel 30% domestically and internationally.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
