How You’ll Make an Impact
- Plan and monitor factory cost centers, review allocations and variances, and follow up with stakeholders on required actions.
- Review production order costs, investigate deviations from standards and forecasts, identify key cost drivers, and work with operations to take corrective action.
- Prepare standard reports that give factory leaders clear visibility into financial performance, cost trends, and areas requiring attention.
- Contribute to the monthly forecast and close for the Charlotte LPT factory by providing accurate submissions, reconciliations, and clear variance commentary.
- Support the budget process by developing factory inputs, aligning assumptions with operational plans, and monitoring performance against approved targets throughout the year.
- Apply regulatory requirements, internal policies, accounting standards, and internal controls in day-to-day factory controlling activities.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining complete documentation, responding to requests, and resolving findings.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field—or equivalent relevant experience in factory controlling, manufacturing finance, or cost accounting.
- Strong knowledge of cost center accounting, production order controlling, standard costs, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close, with the ability to analyze financial and operational data and turn findings into practical actions.
- Advanced Excel and experience with SAP or another ERP system; business intelligence and automation tools are a plus.
- Strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage recurring deadlines while maintaining accuracy and control discipline
- Clear communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and partner across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and other functions
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
