Build and assemble pressure plates and process all aspects of manufacturing service generator cores.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Become familiar with all tools and equipment for generator core assembly.
- Perform fitting and assembly operations necessary to build and assemble complete cores, torque and tension bolts and hardware per drawings.
- Set up and operate robots, clean and detail cores.
- Build and assemble pressure plates and process all aspects of manufacturing service generator cores.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Prefer to have a candidate with 4 or more years of industrial-mechanical experience.
- Proficiency with shop tools - grinders, sanders, drills, ratchets, wrenches, etc., and ability to choose optimal tool for the task. Required to lift / move 50 lb. materials.
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment. Basic math skills. Ability to read, write, and complete simple forms.
- Operator must be able to be fit to wear a respirator. Must be able to obtain fork truck and crane license.
- The Career Readiness/Work Keys Certificate - Silver Status required. Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests or any other as required to perform the duties.
