Role Summary The Product Architect contributes to business growth by defining and developing AI‑driven design automation solutions for custom IC and analog/mixed‑signal designs. The role focuses on Siemens native platforms, including L‑Edit, as well as third‑party, OpenAccess‑based design environments. Key Responsibilities Layout Automation & Design Migration • Define layout automation capabilities for custom IC and analog/mixed‑signal designs. • Apply AI innovation to deliver breakthroughs in design migration. • Align solutions with modern process technologies and foundry requirements. Platform Integration & Automation • Design and implement integrations within Siemens tooling, including L‑Edit, and third‑party, OpenAccess‑based frameworks. • Develop and maintain SKILL‑based and other scripting‑based automation for layout and migration workflows. • Establish clear integration patterns and technical best practices. AI & Intelligent Workflows • Apply AI and machine‑learning techniques to layout automation, design migration, and optimization. • Evaluate emerging AI‑based methods and translate them into product capabilities. • Track industry developments in intelligent design workflows. Qualifications • Experience designing or implementing AI‑driven workflows for EDA, layout, or design migration. • Strong hands‑on experience with SKILL‑based integrations and design automation. • Proven delivery of complex EDA software or design automation products. • Experience with Siemens custom IC design tools, including L‑Edit, and/or third‑party, OpenAccess‑based environments. • Background in layout automation, design migration, or analog design workflows. • Team and technical leadership experience. This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
