- Perform rack, stack, and cable installation of servers, storage, networking, and GPU systems.
- Install rails, mount equipment, label assets, and maintain proper airflow and cable management.
- Connect and verify power, fiber, and copper network cabling.
- Assist with hardware moves, adds, and changes (MACs) across data center floors.
- Follow deployment runbooks and engineering documentation.
- Conduct hardware validation, LED/port checks, and physical troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate asset tracking, labeling, and documentation.
- Collaborate with Data Center Engineers and Network teams during deployments and migrations.
- Follow ESD, safety, and security protocols.
- Support decommissioning and removal of end-of-life hardware.
- 5 years of hands-on data center experience, especially rack and stack.
- Strong understanding of server and network rack layouts, fiber/copper cabling, and PDUs.
- Experience installing enterprise servers such as Dell, HPE, Supermicro, or equivalent.
- Ability to read rack elevation diagrams and deployment instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in rack environments.
- Knowledge of ESD procedures and safe hardware handling.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Experience in hyperscale or GPU-dense data centers.
- Exposure to high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
- Knowledge of hot/cold aisle containment best practices.
- Experience supporting large-scale hardware refreshes or migrations.
- Basic Linux familiarity is a plus.
