Job Title: Sr. Data Analyst – ERP Migration (Dynamics 365)

Location: Downtown Chicago, IL (Hybrid – Onsite 2-3 days/week)

Duration: 6-Month Contract (Extensions Likely)

About the Role:

is seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong ERP migration experience, preferably involving Microsoft Dynamics 365, for an ongoing financial transformation project in downtown Chicago. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work 2–3 days per week (Tues–Thurs), and the candidate must be currently located in the Chicagoland area.

You’ll be part of a multi-year initiative (3–5 years) to modernize and consolidate legacy systems through a Dynamics 365 implementation. Your primary role will involve leading data discovery, cleansing, transformation, and validation efforts to ensure a smooth and accurate migration from multiple legacy platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document legacy systems and data structures to inform future-state architecture.
• Create detailed source-to-target mappings to guide data transformations and migrations.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data analysts, and ERP teams to understand and implement data requirements.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, validate, and reconcile data across large datasets.
• Use Informatica CDQ (or similar tools) for data cleansing, profiling, and quality assurance.
• Perform pre- and post-migration data validations to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Support the ERP implementation partner with data-related troubleshooting throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Work across cross-functional teams to ensure data readiness for go-live.

Required Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience as a Data Analyst with hands-on involvement in data migration projects.
• Strong ERP migration background, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, extraction, and validation.
• Experience with source-to-target mapping and data transformation processes.
• Hands-on experience with data cleansing and profiling using tools like Informatica CDQ.
• Proven ability to work with complex data sets in enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct experience with Informatica CDQ.
• Industry experience in rail, manufacturing, or supply chain environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) for work tracking and documentation.
• Experience with DB2, or mapping data across various database platforms.
