About Sibie's: Located in the vibrant college town of Amherst, Sibie’s Pizza is a beloved, family-owned establishment known for serving up delicious pizza for decades. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of something more than just a job, but a community staple.
Role Responsibilities:
We seek to hire a full time (35-40 hours) kitchen professional who would be available afternoon and evenings, including Friday and Saturdays. This position is year round (including college breaks and summer).
- Assist with food preparation—everything from subs to salads, and of course, our famous pizzas
- Manage food orders, online, catering and over the phone, using our POS system
- Engage in customer service by answering phones and interacting with customers directly
- Work closely with a small, supportive team in a fast-paced environment
- Help with prep work, stocking, and maintaining food safety standards
- Jump in where needed
Ideal Candidate:
- Summer and school year availability
- Previous experience in a kitchen or in a customer service role is preferred
- Having your own car or reliable transportation
- Ability to work well in a team and handle a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Someone who shows up reliably and takes ownership of their role
*Candidate must be available to work Friday and Saturday nights.
