Position Summary
Sibcy Cline Video Editors support the marketing efforts of Sibcy Cline by editing high-quality video content that highlights property interiors and exteriors of homes, communities, and Sibcy Cline special events. This role is focused primarily on post-production, with some filming responsibilities as needed.
Essential Functions
- Edit video content as the primary responsibility, ensuring a high level of quality, professionalism, and brand consistency; making sure audio, script and visuals meet established standards
- Provide filming support as needed to supplement post-production and ensure project requirements are met
- Manage organization and storage of video footage, audio, and graphics for all video content
- Update inventory of Visual Tours to reflect Active, Sold, and Expired/Withdrawn/Cancelled Inventory; and ensure quality of audio, script and picture
- Organize and document logistical information for visual tours as visual tours are ordered, how much people were paid, etc.
- Stay abreast of new video and editing technologies and implement these technologies when applicable
- Research properties to plan video and drone shots and proactively troubleshoot any issues
- Film special projects for corporate video content by collaborating with various departments to execute clear and concise storytelling as assigned
- Communicate with agents to understand and accommodate their photography needs and connect agents with appropriate parties
- Operate drone* when filming properties, landscapes, etc. as assigned
*must be licensed drone pilot to operate drone
Qualifications:
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite necessary
- Familiarity with editing and audio software
- Drone Pilot License highly preferred
- Familiarity with motion graphics
- Familiar with photo department application and procedure
- Driver’s license required
- Experience with real estate photography preferred
- Superb attention to detail related to aesthetic perspective, creativity and visualization
Work Context
Video editors travel to various properties occasionally in all weather conditions via personal car. Video editors must be safe drivers and exercise sound judgement and caution when traveling, working outside, etc. Additionally, employees in this position must be in adequate physical condition to carry equipment, walk through properties quickly, climb stairs, crouch, move listing signage, and navigate various properties safely and efficiently. Video editors must be able to carry weighted equipment for an extended amount of time. Also be able to work and adjust to surroundings with little time to prepare.
