What You’ll Do:
As an Employee Benefits Account Manager, you will perform a blend of client support and benefits administration. You’ll manage a portfolio of employer groups while ensuring smooth operations across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive client satisfaction and retention while identifying growth opportunities
- Manage eligibility changes, coverage transitions, and COBRA compliance
- Lead open enrollment planning and execution
- Manage the renewal process for client benefits packages, including negotiations and plan updates
- Ensure compliance with ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, and other regulations
- Build and maintain benefit structures in Employee Navigator; troubleshoot EDI issues
- Collaborate with carriers and vendors for seamless integrations
- Use Excel to analyze claims data and benefits metrics
- Experience in benefits administration, HR support, or insurance operations
- Tech-savvy with strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Familiarity with platforms like Employee Navigator and payroll systems (ADP, Paylocity)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused
- Ability to obtain insurance licensing within 60 days of hire
