Shuttle Buddy is a growing transportation company providing reliable shuttle service between Fayetteville and Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), as well as campus transportation and group travel for athletic teams and organizations.
As we expand our routes and partnerships, we are actively hiring three dependable drivers to join our team across multiple shifts.
Position Overview
We are seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Shuttle Drivers who are professional, punctual, and safety-focused. This role includes a mix of:
- Airport shuttle runs (Fayetteville ↔ RDU)
- Campus transportation routes
- Local and over-the-road trips
- Day, evening, overnight, and early morning shifts
This is a flexible role with a variety of driving opportunities depending on availability and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle buses and vans on assigned routes
- Transport passengers for airport, campus, and event-based trips
- Provide a professional, friendly customer experience
- Assist passengers with boarding and light luggage
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Accurately complete trip logs (mileage, passenger counts, etc.)
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- CDL with Passenger Endorsement preferred but not required
- Minimum age: 26 (insurance requirement)
- Experience driving vans, shuttles, or larger vehicles preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented
- Flexible availability (including nights, weekends, and early mornings)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening (required)
Schedule Options
- Full-Time: 30–40 hours per week
- Part-Time: Up to 29 hours per week
Shifts may include:
- Early morning airport runs
- Daytime campus routes
- Evening and overnight trips
- Weekend and special event transportation
Compensation
- Starting Pay: $16.50/hour
- Pay Range: $11.00 – $20.00/hour depending on:
- Type of driving assignment
- Experience level
- CDL status
