Client Partner, Media & Entertainment

About the opportunity: We're seeking a Client Partner of Media & Entertainment Sales located in New York to focus on hunting for new customers, while also expanding relationships/business with existing clients across the Media & Entertainment space. The day to day: Navigate large media organizations, network and sell to multiple buyers and decision makers within a parent company and their subsidiaries Establish and execute on Account Plans across all assigned Key Accounts Build and manage strong pipeline, accuracy in forecasting Oversee a client base of 30-40 key movie studios, national broadcasters and/or production companies Structure 6 figure Enterprise level agreements including all products across the entire Shutterstock portfolio Quickly become an expert in telling the Shutterstock Story, including all products and services - Creative Images and Footage, Music, Editorial, Shutterstock Studios, API integrations, Live Event Assignments/Coverage, etc. Know went to pull in Subject Matter Experts, comfortable with pulling a team together to win business Establish strong relationships at senior, decision making levels (C and VP level) Develop deep vertical expertise to be perceived as a trusted partner of your client segment Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client base and explore new revenue conversations with net-new logos Provide insights through site demos and presentations to customers and educating customers on the full Shutterstock product portfolio Work closely with an assigned account manager to create a strategy, focus, and prioritization within assigned territory and/or account list Collaborate globally on account strategies for a selective group of clients Use Salesforce to manage pipeline and accurately forecast on a monthly/quarterly basis What you’ll bring to the role: 7-10 years of solution selling, consultative selling, and/or business development Track record of negotiating large media agreements with Studios and broadcasters Proven results in consistently exceeding sales targets Strong network within media on the west or east coast and proven ability to foster relationships with key decision makers Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to facilitate current and future business needs Highly organized and detail-oriented Proficient in Salesforce What we’d love to see: Content licensing experience Experience within the Studios and/or Media space Why Shutterstock: You have a direct impact on the success of the company. The compensation package offered may vary depending on employment experience, skills, and knowledge. You may also be eligible for our generous benefits package including health, wellness and financial benefits. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of the location(s) below may differ based on the cost of labor, market, and additional factors. The pay range for this position is below: • 180,000 - 280,000 per year in New York Note: Commission-eligible roles are expressed as on-target earnings (base and commission). Non-commission roles are expressed as base salary only but are also eligible for annual incentives.
