Shulman Rogers seeks a Legal Administrative Assistant to join its Landlord-Tenant practice group within the Litigation Department at the Firm's Potomac office. This position will play a central role in providing comprehensive administrative support to the group.

- Handle electronic filing (e-filing) and service of court documents in both state and federal courts in Maryland, DC and Virginia.
- Prepare and maintain template documents and files.
- Coordinate with clients, court personnel, and other parties involved in litigation.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, hearings, and other appointments.
- Maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, litigation dates and reminders.
- Assist accounting, clients, and attorneys with invoicing questions.
- 5 years of administrative or secretarial support experience in a litigation department or practice.
- E-filing of pleadings in both state and federal courts in Maryland, DC and Virginia.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and court rules related to litigation.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort and skill in speaking with clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with particular expertise in Microsoft Word; experience with document management software (iManage preferred) and other litigation software.
