Shulman Rogers' Real Estate Department seeks a Commercial Real Estate Attorney. The successful candidate will have at least 4 years' experience as an attorney with transactional and commercial real estate experience and general management of case files.
Responsibilities:
- Draft leases, purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, letters of intent, deeds, etc. in connection with commercial real estate transactions.
- Review due diligence materials (including leases and service contracts), monitor contingencies, review and prepare title objections, survey and environmental reviews, closing documents and wire transfers.
- Conduct closings and complete post-closing documentation and administration.
- Review and monitor agreements with developers, approval of conditions required prior to draw disbursement and developer payment.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 4 years' experience as an attorney with commercial and transactional real estate experience.
- MD Bar license required, VA and/or DC Bar license a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively work with various types of clients
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize and work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

Salary : $160,000 - $190,000
