Position Overview:
We are seeking a licensed, experienced Journeyman Electrician to perform electrical installations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs for commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and works well both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Ensure all work meets National Electrical Code (NEC), local regulations, and company standards
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostics
- Work collaboratively with project managers, apprentices, and other team members
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Complete required documentation and reports
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license (Arkansas or reciprocal state)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed Journeyman Electrician
- Strong knowledge of NEC and OSHA safety standards
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
- Ability to work outdoors and adapt to various job site conditions
Preferred Experience:
- Underground utility electrical work
- Experience working alongside boring rig crews or directional drilling operations
