Food and Beverage Manager – Prince
Job description: As the Food and Beverage Director you will ensure that guest receive the highest level of food quality and service. You will manage the restaurant staff regarding, hiring, scheduling and training. Working with the front and back of house managers will be an essential part of the job, to provide the best experience for all guest. This is a salary position with earned commission. Position reports directly to the Resort Manager.
Job responsibilities:
- Communicate with others using clear and professional language
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests service needs
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safety hazards.
- Interviewing, hiring, training and scheduling team members
- Manage and monitor product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
- Assist with the planning and executing of menus
- Assist in monitoring inventory and inventory control
- Activities/events as it pertains to the dining room, bar locations and banquet
- Ensure that all staff are complying with alcohol serving standards
- Maintaining budget, prepare payroll, tracking and controlling food costs
- Advertising and marketing F&B outlets by working with our Marketing Dept
- Onsite Silverware POS System (training available)
- Manage labor cost and operating expenses
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a related field is required (minimum 1 year)
- Knowledge of Silverware POS System
- Experience with Silverware POS System
- A detailed understanding of cash balances is a must
- Must be comfortable working under pressure
- Must be dependable and have good time management skills
- Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays
- TIPS and ServSafe certification
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
