POSITION SUMMARY:
Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for guest satisfaction, product quality, food and beverage profitability, associate productivity and personal development.
Essential Job Functions:
Bistro/Catering
· Ensures that the cashiers, wait and bus staff meet basic service and quality standards.
· Always aware of guest’s needs.
· Train all associates to meet and exceed Breakfast, Starbucks & Catering (if provided for special events), and Dinner steps of services. (At certain times)
· Ensures cleaning is done on a daily basis.
· Knowledgeable of ABC Laws and Health Regulations.
· Knowledgeable of all reports required by the Bistro and CN Hotels.
· Knowledgeable of POS System.
· Assist with interviewing and making recommendations for hiring/ pending GM’s final approval
· Performs performance evaluations for each associate supervised per CN Hotels standards.
· Completes Bistro Associates schedules/ taking into account all hotel events and meetings
· Takes disciplinary measures when needed, equally to all staff, and according to standards.
· Is neatly attired at all times in the required uniform/personal clothing and maintains a professional and congenial attitude.
· Is alert to the operation of the Bistro as well as any in-house catering events.
· Assist the DOS & GM in developing and implementing marketing and sales plans for the Bistro to maximize revenue from breakfast, lunch (if provided), catering events and dinner.
· Familiarizes himself/herself with corporate systems, procedures and policies.
· Familiarizes himself/herself with MGS and all applications that apply to job responsibilities, such as Land-It, GXP, Guest Voice, Bistro Operations Page
· Complete Land-It tasks for the Bistro
· Attend all required webinars such as seasonal refresh, etc…
· Ensure Bistro associates complete all Marriott Required training
· Completes Quarterly GFSA and uploads through the QA website
· Manage and update Catering Menu in compliance to brand standards and with GM approval
· Work hand in hand with Sales department to ensure all Events are properly set-up and that all F&B needs are met
· Attend Sales appointments as needed to discuss catering options
· Inventory and Cost Controls for food and beverage
· Place F&B orders with GM approval
· Cover shifts as needed based on business demand and/or staffing levels
· Communicate professionally at all times with all associates
· Participate in Department Head Meetings
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay: Up to $38,000.00 per year
