About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior VMware VCF Consultant to support a large-scale enterprise infrastructure transformation initiative. This engagement is managed by Broadcom for one of the world's leading financial institutions,. The consultant will play a key role in managing Configuration Drift using SaltStack across VMware Cloud Foundation environments.
This is a long-term, high-visibility project with opportunities to work on next-generation VMware technologies, including VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.x.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Configuration Drift Management using SaltStack (Salt).
- Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions for VMware Cloud Foundation environments.
- Manage and support both VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 5.2.x and VCF 9.x deployments.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, automation, and configuration management issues.
- Collaborate with Broadcom and JPMC engineering teams to ensure platform stability and compliance.
- Follow enterprise best practices for infrastructure automation, configuration management, and operational excellence.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
- Hands-on expertise with VCF 9.x (highly preferred).
- Experience supporting VCF 5.2.x environments.
- Strong knowledge of SaltStack (Salt) for configuration management and automation.
- Experience with enterprise infrastructure operations and VMware administration.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
