ShortList Recruitment have partnered with a FinTech company who are looking to bring in a highly motivated & Driven Senior Java Software Engineer. Our client is one of the fastest growing companies in the nation, receiving recognition on the list of INC 5000 fastest growing private companies in USA.
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Java Software engineer to join my client's rapidly growing development team. The ideal person will have at least 8 years of commercial Java experience in complex environments, ideally in InsurTech, Fintech or Investment Services environments.

You will have the opportunity to work on a range of new B2C products alongside a highly talented team. Please note that this role requires 4 days per week in office.
Key Requirements
- Experience of working across the full development lifecycle in mission-critical environments
- Solid experience of enterprise-level Java development with AWS Microservices and SpringBoot
- Experience with Javascript frameworks and libraries
- Experience of building highly scalable and secure systems
- Good knowledge of API development in complex business environments
- Practical experience of CI/CD tools and practices
- Mobile Systems design and deployment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- 8 years in software engineering roles
- Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive mindset.
