Kitchen Worker – Bellaire Brewpub
Short’s Brewing Co. is seeking a Kitchen Worker to join the team at our Bellaire brewpub! This role is an opportunity to be part of a culture built on passion, creativity, and fun. At Short’s, employee satisfaction is central to our mission.
Kitchen Workers are responsible for the day-to-day food production at our Bellaire pub. This includes preparing sandwiches, pizzas, soups, appetizers, and to-go orders, as well as assisting with dishwashing as needed. Kitchen Workers are expected to maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation at all times.
Strong communication skills are important, as this role works closely with Pubtenders and management to ensure high-quality food is prepared efficiently and accurately, and to communicate any food production issues or out-of-stock items.
What You’ll Need
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment
- Basic math skills to accurately measure ingredients
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for shifts up to 10 hours
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and busy shifts (required)
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $15.00–$19.00 per hour, based on experience
- Full-time employees are eligible for benefits and paid time off
