What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cellar Worker position at Short's Brewing Company?
Calling all self-motivated, detail-oriented, tank-cleaning, beer-making people! We are now hiring in Elk Rapids for a Cellar Worker.
The Cellar Worker’s daily work includes all steps of the cellaring process, as well as administrative work to keep the brewhouse and cellar organized and consistent. Cellar duties include safely cleaning and sanitizing fermentation and conditioning tanks, transferring beer from tank to tank, clarifying beer, monitoring the fermentation of beer, carbonating beer to the correct level, as well as cleaning and sanitizing product lines and finally yeast management!
Prior brewing or cellaring experience is preferred. This position is an at-will, full-time, hourly position that will be eligible for the full suite of Short’s benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with an employer match, a sweet, sweet employee discount and more!)
