What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Short Partners LLC?
Our client has a long history of manufacturing components for global commercial and agricultural markets. They employ a workforce of 150 associates and have been in business for over 75 years. Reporting to the Plant Director, the ideal candidate will oversee accounting functions while driving accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Competencies/Skills:
- BS in Accounting, MBA, MS and CPA a plus.
- 10 plus years leading financial teams in a manufacturing company.
- Direct staff of four professionals, Cost Accountant, AP/AR and Sr. Accountant.
- Prepare and issue required financial reports on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Proven experience with Cost Accounting, Variance Analysis, Monthly Forecast, Annual Budget, and Train and Development of accounting professionals required.
- Salary range $135-$170k with 20% annual performance bonus.
