This Opportunity:

• Complete detailed design for airport infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, buildings, and utilities.
• Draft and develop project plan sheets using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Prepare construction documents such as plans, specifications, and supporting technical materials.
• Support project estimation and budgeting activities.
• Participate in construction observation and field engineering for airport projects throughout the Midwest.
• Assist Professional Engineers and Project Managers with project scoping, task hour allocations, schedules, fee proposals, and state and federal grant applications and management.
• Coordinate work activities, support project team responsibilities, and provide regular project status updates.
• Build a strong understanding of current airport design standards, regulations, and industry procedures.
  Work effectively in an empowered, collaborative team environment while maintaining individual accountability.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in civil engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and CAD design tools.
• Ability to travel occasionally for team meetings, client consultations, on‑site inspections, and related project needs; occasional overnight travel may be required.

Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $65,000 and $76,000 based on skill set and experience. Check out our full benefits package at SEH Hiring Journey.
