Job Summary
Our ideal candidate is an energetic, outgoing person with high standards who enjoys working with students. They would work under the immediate supervision of the site administrator and would provide an instructional program. to pupils in grades nine through twelve. The applicant must be interested in developing hands-on, relevant curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking to serve the needs of our diverse student population in a small classroom setting. We are looking for someone who has a deep understanding of the English Standards Framework and its progression of skills and knowledge. The applicant must also be committed to participating as a dedicated team member, interested in multi-discipline collaboration, willing to continue professional development, and be committed to getting involved in our school community.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Science (Chemistry and Physics authorization required). Supplemental authorization in Mathematics, or a Single Subject Credential in Mathematics. English Learner Authorization (CLAD or equivalent). Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Offers of employment subject to: Valid California Driver's License, Fingerprint clearance, and Negative TB clearance
